Finished! The Earth Wizard is a commission for 
and talk about an involved piece!
We've got it all: magic, lightning, glitter, glow in the dark paint, metallic paints, spiky hair, flowers, and yep, all done on a feather! Make that three.
I wanted to put in a bunch of clues that this was a wizard whose element was Earth. The flow of magic contains several differently colored leaves, all of which are done in metallic paint. The grassy patch of ground at the wizard's feet contains several brightly color flowers. His robe's print contains both wind and forest patterns and his wand is inset with three differently colored gems. His necklace bears a leafy pendant with more gemstones strung around it. He's even got green hair!
Glow in the dark elements include the moon, the stones in the wand, the stream of magic, the lightning and his necklace.
Metallic objects include all the gems, the leaves, parts of the magic stream, the purple soles on his shoes, his robe's rope, and the little flowers in the grass.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactWithout a doubt in my mind this piece is beyond superb. I am not saying that because the concept was mine, oh no!
You have, by far, exceeded the depiction I have held in my mind's eye for some years of this character. Your excellent portrayal of the folds due to the wind and detailing in the robe and the look and flow of the magic with the various colored leaves, are two elements of this piece I can not stop looking at and wishing this scene were expanded more.
And the wand! Oh how I adore it so! You utterly nailed my vision for it and then breathed new life into it with your addition of the beads.. a small but wonderful detail.
