Elk

A commission for ! I hope she likes it! She's one of the people I see coming to my page time and again to leave great comments, so painting a feather for her was a pleasure. Come to find out also she's from my home state! It won't have far to travel once it is framed!

This is a present for her parent's anniversary/Xmas. She said that her mother enjoys unique art and her dad likes elk. I think she came to the right place!

The feathers are the ones from the base of the turkey's tail and as such contain shiny parts at their tips. It's really pretty in the light but unfortunately my camera can't quite pick that up. I've gotten permission to make this into a print as well!
