Gina, Roxanne, and Star

And then there were three!

After I thought that the painting was finished, the commissioner requested that I include their newest addition to the family, Star. Star is a 5 year old greyhound (top right) who has just found her forever home. She has never had a real home and had bounced from kennel to kennel her whole life.

I was surprised at how easily Star went into the empty space in the painting and the work was done much more quickly than I had anticipated, putting an extra three or so hours into this piece. Guess she just belongs.
