Update TiemzI don't want to let old journals sit for too long without updates as to what I've been up to lately. I know that the Ustream has been pretty slow lately with me getting other things done. It's not easy to stream each and every day. I'm starting to plan for my next painting project, which I want to be traditional. I have far less problems working with the stream that way.
On the subject of streaming, I should also say that there will be no stream tonight. I have plans to go see a movie after work. Gonna see the new Star Trek movie. I'm SO excited!
In other news, I am planning on getting some more feather paintings done to be put up for sale. I am currently all caught up with commissions. I am thinking about using DA's Adcast to see how that would work for me. Another idea I'm batting around is possibly offering up subscriptions to anyone that recommends someone to buy a commission or feather painting from me. When the sale becomes official, I would then get whoever recommended the buyer a 3 month subscription. What do you think?
Speaking of feather paintings, I might be raising the prices slightly. Not for more profit exactly, but because lately postal costs have gone way above what I have been calculating them to be. We package the framed paintings very well and send these heavy boxes out across the country. The last one that I sent out cost over 30 dollars, way more than what I expected. I think it's only fair that I get compensated for the shipping costs.

I wish I could go on Ustream more often but I work late some nights and I'm just too tired to get on.
The subscription recommendation thing sounds cool. Personally, I would wait till the buyer sends you the money before gifting the subscription, just in case.
